I published this some years ago with this description: “An infectious bass line black hole sucked in an organ, a vibraphone and three innocent guitars.”

This swing instrumental shows the beginnings of my foray into blues and my love of my six-string bass (particularly as a lead instrument). Typical of my instrumentals, there is a familiar musical phrase embedded in it. In this case, the composition roughly coincided with the death of Phil Everly (January 19, 2014) so I added a few notes from “Bye Bye Love” to honor him and his brother Don (who passed away in August of 2021).
