This finger-style guitar instrumental has some underlying imagery intended to be humorous. Most people have had the experience of an air leak in their tire. If the leak is slow, there is a tendency to ignore it until it needs to be filled back up. The structure of this song is the same. The musical phrases descend until I have to move back up the neck of the guitar (adding air, as it were) until I finally give up and allow the rest of the air leak out.
